Every timed session ends with a gentle Fade — the Hub ramps its own volume down to silence over the last few seconds, computed locally on the device itself rather than depending on a network round-trip, so nothing jolts a nearly-asleep baby awake even if the connection is briefly spotty, and even on an older phone acting as the Hub.
